Finding and applying for artist opportunities – fellowships, residencies, or grants – can often feel daunting and overwhelming. You may find yourself asking, “Where do I look?,” “What work should I include?” or “What materials are required?”
During this virtual workshop, Galleyway founder Camille Wanliss will uncover resources for visual artists and writers, and offer tips and best practices for getting the most out of your application - from where to find opportunities to develop a strong artist statement, bio, and project proposal that will help you stand out.

Imagine a day filled with creativity, community, and vibrant colors. The Painting in the Park event, in collaboration with Black Everywhere, is happening at the historic Wyck House, and it’s set to be an unforgettable experience.

Nestled in the heart of Germantown, the Wyck House provides a lush, serene backdrop that brings together artists of all ages and skill levels to express themselves in the open air.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or a doodling newbie, this is the perfect space to let your imagination run wild. And, of course, there'll be plenty of opportunities to mingle, share tips, and maybe even discover your next fashion sketching buddy.
